The first of the open tryouts for the 2010 season are complete with an overall successful outcome on a messy Saturday morning. Almost 30 baseball hopefuls took Jim Spooner Field at Pelican Park by storm on February 27 not knowing they would be battling the elements as well as their nerves. Rain poured down on Pensacola the night before and left the field soggy, muddy and slippery.
